Clearness Committee New Member Process

1.  You will be assigned a mentor to guide you through the process.

2.  Read Parker Palmer’s book, A Hidden Wholeness.  Familiarize yourself with the Clearness Committee structure posted on the Appamada Wiki under Clearness Committee.

3.  Do “walk and talks” with all the current members.  Structure for walk and talks posted on the Appamada Wiki under Clearness Committee.

4.  Be a silent witness in a formal clearness committee process.

5.  Be the focus person in a clearness committee process.

6.  Get together with 2 experienced CC members for practice with "open questions" for 2 practice sessions.

7.  Loving Presence practice sessions.  This a specific set of exercises designed to illuminate our current listening styles and practice habits that create an open, loving atmosphere for a focus person.  These are offered only occasionally so please try to attend when offered.

You may be a formal committee member before undergoing #6.
